Fedora 7 was a major leap for Fedora Linux, dropping the name Fedora Core in favor of the more simple Fedora, the first version to offer a LiveCD, and many other features. This version is still very useful, and is typical with linux, is capable of running most modern linux apps. It is great for desktops with Ethernet internet and a normal graphics card. this version is not really that good for laptops.
